Lord Todd's flaps on his cap are red when he and Teela are flying to Castle Starg, but when they are at Castle Starg, they are white again.
Orko: An Earth tremor here?
Did Orko forget the adventure against the Energy Beast two episodes ago?
Man-at-Arms at one point in this episode pulls out a weapon that is very similar to a light saber from star wars.
There are robots in this episode that have been used in previous shows from season one that were used by Skeletor.
When Lord Todd has been defeated, The Sorceress states "Everything is returning to normal". Does this mean his magic had effects elsewhere in Eternia, other than Castle Star?
There is an inconsistency with the origin of Castle Star in the episode. Although the Sorceress describes the castle as "The Ancient Castle Star", suggesting it has been standing for centuries, Lord Todd later claims that he built it- but how is this possible, when he has only just arrived on Eternia?
He-Man: Today we met Lord Todd who appeared to be a generous and good person, and Moak who looked like a monster.
Teela: But then we found out that it was Todd who was the monster, and Moak who was kind and good.
He-Man: You learned that real goodness comes from the inside.
Teela: Remember not to judge people simply by the way they look. It's what they're really like inside that counts.
He-Man/Teela: Bye for now.
Man-at-Arms: You broke your word! What kind of a man are you?
Lord Todd: I...am not a man at all!
Lord Todd, the villain of the episode, is re-used from a character in an earlier episode- the sideshow owner in season 1's "The Heart of a Giant".
The scenery used for Lord Todd's home dimension was previously used for Skeletor's home dimension in "The Taking of Grayskull". It would be interesting to think that Lord Todd and Skeletor may be from the same place...
