At the end of the episode, Stanlin manages to overcome Shokoti's power with He-Man's sword, by simply utilising his inner bravery... so why did He-Man have no success doing the job himself? Does this make Stanlin braver than He-Man or something?
No reference is made whatsoever to Lord Masque's scheme from the previous episode- thus making the whole of part 1 seem more or less insignificant. Could this two-parter really not have been done as a single installment?
Stanlin: Shokoti, Stop it!!
Shokoti: Away, boy!
Stanlin: NOT AFRAID!!
Prince Adam: In today's adventure Stanlan was trapped in an old dark building. He had to face many dangers, from demons to monsters. Now, in your world there are no demons or monsters, but there's still danger in old dark places. Empty buildings or caves may seem exciting, but you could get badly hurt or trapped in places like that. So stay out of them, even if one of your friends dares you to go in. Taking a risk like than isn't brave, it's just dumb.
Cringer: (completely scared to death) Adam...in ten seconds, I'm....back at the Palace. So...you better lift your sword...NOW!!
Larry DiTillio wrote this episode as a horror story, and it is widely considered to be the scariest episode of the whole series.
