One scene in this episode features an appearance by a very strange character who was never in any other episodes, before or after. His design is re-used from Lizard Man, but he is colored completely differently and has been given glasses and an old, wise-sounding voice, which seems to suggest he is not meant to be Lizard Man. Yet Teela addresses him as if he is a familiar member of the series. It is not clear exactly who this character is meant to be.
