    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • In "Dawn of Dragoon" we're told that in his homeland, Orko is a great wizard, "the greatest sorcerer in all Trolla," in fact, and that his magic doesn't work that well on Eternia because everything's backwards on the two worlds. Shouldn't Montork likewise be effected in Eternia? It doesn't seem like it.

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Orko: Boy, I sure got myself in trouble today. And it all started when I fooled around with something I didn't really understand. When you're growing up it's natural to be curious, but when you fool around with things you don't understand it's downright dangerous! Things like electricity, pills or berries in the forest. Play around with them and you're playing with trouble. Handle only the things you know are safe, and you'll be taking a big step towards avoiding accidents. Bye!

      • Uncle Montork: HICKORY! DICKORY!
Teela: Hickory? Dickory? What kind of spell is that?
Uncle Montork: It worked, didn't it?
        Teela: Good point!

    • NOTES (3)

      • This was one of the least favorite episodes of the Filmation staff, who felt it transferred poorly from storyboard to screen. It was storyboarded by Barry Caldwell, who liked to exaggerate the expressions on each panel as if they were from a Disney film, but as a result it translated poorly to the screen.

      • The character in this episode called 'Karg' is not the same Karg who appeared in the live-action He-Man movie.

      • This episode is a sequel to "Orko's Favorite Uncle", but it is perhaps more of a remake since it basically replicates the exact same story, only reversing the roles of Orko and Montork.
