As if 'Porkules' wasn't bad enough, the story continues for another episode!
This is one of my least favourite episodes; The sort of thing that I sat through once just to say that I've seen every episode, but don't exactly rush back to view again.
As I said in my review for 'Porkules', I completely understand that they had think quick and come up with some creative ideas to cover for Kevin Sorbo's relative absence due to health problems, but even so, this is a BAD episode.
Alexandra Tydings, who ordinarily plays Aphrodite, here also doubles up and plays the human form of Katherine. She does lot's of 'funny' things such as rolling in mud and putting her head in her soup bowl, but it doesn't exactly make for a very pleasing episode.
Meanwhile, Ares punishes Iolaus and Autolycus for turning Discord into a chicken by cuffing them together... casting a spell that leaves them naked... turning them into ogre-like creatures... on and on it goes, but it doesn't get much better.
Michael Hurst (who also directs) and Bruce Campbell go through the motions, but nothing can save this terrible episode.moreless
Episode Summary

The pig Katherine told Hercules of her desire to become human. Hearing this, Aphrodite turned Katherine into a woman in her own image. The human Katherine happily stripped off all her clothes to roll in the mud. Meanwhile, Ares punished Autolycus and Iolaus for turning Discord into a chicken. Mistaken for the Big-footed Two-headed Forest People of legend, the pair was on display at a circus when Hercules rescued them. In the end, Aphrodite turned Katherine back into a pig, and happily rejoined her family.moreless

Nitpick: When Iolaus says to Autolycus that they should find clothes, Auto replies that he doesn't know how they would get them on considering the fact that their hands are chained together. However, in the next scene, they steal sacks and are wearing them with armholes cut out. How did they get those on?

Character The character PT Barnabus is a nod to the great circus impresario PT (Phineas Taylor) Barnum, who created what would eventually become Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
