In the town of Zebran, King Beraeus was about to marry Ramina when the warrior Tarlus abducted her. Hercules convinced the king to let him go after Tarlus, whom Hercules knew to be a good man. He and Iolaus rescued Ramina but she slipped away in the land of the Primords and returned to Tarlus, the man she really loved. Hercules rescued her again but lost her once more. Finally Hercules realized King Beraeus was forcing Ramina to marry him, so he switched sides and assisted Tarlus. After Hercules struck down Beraeus, Ramina married Tarlus.moreless

Not much to say on this episode.
The first half is very generic, as Hercules and Iolaus set out to rescue to the seemingly kidnapped fiance.

The second half offers a couple of twists, as it emerges that everything is not as it seems about the mission.

Casting wise, King Beraus is played by Joel Tobeck, who would go on to play minor God Strife in both this series and 'Xena: Warrior Princess'.

Not the most bottom of the barrel it at least has a semi-decent plot, as opposed to some of the later, very silly episodes; but it has a very 'filler' feel to the whole thing. filler feel to the whole thing.moreless
