For those of us wondering where Morrigan suddenly disappeared to at the end of the Dahak story arc, this episode explains it all. We learn in this episode that she asked Hercules to marry her, but then suddenly left without explanation.

This is the sort of over-wordy episode that I don't ordinarily like too much, but it is played out so well, and we have seen so much of the build up of Hercules' relationship with Morrigan, that I actually really enjoyed it.

Simone Kessel plays the part of wronged soul Havisha well, beautiful yet deadly. It is hard to dislike the character even though in many ways she is the villain of the piece, as she is played sympathetically.

Although on the Season 4 DVDs (Region 1 version) Rob Tapert says that he feels the love stories between Havisha and her murdered lover, and that or Hercules and Morrigan didn't go together very well, personally I thought that they worked well together, and made for an enjoyable episode.

Here in the United Kingdom, Channel 5 had very much abandoned their run of the series by this point, and this episode popped up as a one-off during the middle of one night, despite the fact that they had never shown any previous episodes of the season, so viewers would not even know who Morrigan was. Go figure!moreless
