      • Reverend Adams: Well, we spent all the money we had on hymnals and choir robes.
Ben: Uh, you could say that you're, uh, as poor of a church mouse, eh, Reverend. (guffaws)
Aaron: Reverend, uh, disregarding that last outburst, have you forgotten that the allocation of general funds to the church is prohibited by the town charter?
Reverend Adams: No, I have not forgotten that, Mr. Stemple. But have you forgotten that the the Good Book says, "Ask, and it shall be given unto you"?
Aaron: No, Reverend, I haven't forgotten that, either. You've asked for an answer, and I'm going to give you one. The answer is no.

      • Biddie: But all Mr. Stemple can think about is money. Too much money, he says. Oh, he's such a big pot!

      • Holly: Well, I've just been thinking about it. you know, I just feel so good in those buckskins, ridin' again and things like that. I just ain't sure if I want to be a lady trapper or lady lady. Shoot, I might want to be a lady bounty hunter, the pay's good.
Jeremy: Well, I guess one kind of trapping's as good as another.
