After her night with Brody, Claire wakes up in the last place she would have imagined. Matt meets a couple of men who seem to know too much about him. Mohinder Suresh finds one of the heroes. Hiro's plan backfires in Las Vegas. Linderman's assistant makes more trouble for Niki just as Nathan arrives in Las Vegas to talk to the crooked casino owner about a campaign contribution. Isaac paints a bleak future for Claire. Peter receives a cryptic message from a very unexpected source.moreless

    in this ep of the show heroes clair wakes up in the morg after the situation with the quaterback and so she makes it out of there and men come to see matt parkmen and they put him to a table and he cant remember anything after he was in the bar and hero goes to las vegas after find out some info about clair and he must save the cheerleader to save the world and nikki is also in some problems after she buried the guys and is still seeing the things this was a good ep i thought and it was very interesting.moreless

  • Hiro and Ando continue their journey but make a stop at a casino, Nathan and Nikki meet under the most unexpected circumstances, Claire takes her revenge and Peter meets up with Mohinder while he receives a message from an unexpected source.moreless

    The fifth chapter of the first volume is the one that pushes the plot like no other. The pieces of the puzzle begin to come together as Peter, Hiro and Isaac lead the way. The heroes begin to meet up with each other and the thrills are impossible to bear.
    Niki and Nathan's meet is the one which you will most likely enjoy the most (I know I have) while Peter and Mohinder's meet is the one that might answer a few questions (especially concerning Peter's power revelation). Overall this is an excellent episode and one of many more to come that will lead to the most brilliant chapter nine: Homecoming. Notice Isaac's paintings and Claire's significance not only to the painting but to the whole volume which later on will be revealed. Enjoy!moreless

    After Matt's run-in with the mystery black man in the bar, he wakes up strapped to a hospital table and Claire's dad Noah is standing over him. Question is: what exactly are they doing to him and why did they take him?

    Peter finally gets his dream girl, the lovely Simone, which was a good ending to a bad night.

    Niki's tattoo (the mysterious S symbol that's on absolutely everything) only appears on her alter ego.

    Mohinder tried to talk to Nathan but Nathan told his guards to get rid of him. Naturally Nathan assumes that Peter told Mohinder about Nathan's powers.

    Hiro and Ando arrive in Vegas. Interestingly: Niki, who lives in Vegas, ends up at the same casino where Nathan is. Niki is in debt to Linderman a name that keeps recurring, he must be important somehow and is told her debt will be wiped clean if she sleeps with Nathan = good old blackmail material on the political candidate. Niki actually talks to her alter ego who seems to do the things that Niki cannot bring herself to do like blackmail Nathan. Interestingly, her alter refers to Micah as 'our son'.

    Nathan has proven to be an incredible disappointment. He goes to meet Linderman in Vegas to get an illegal $2m campaign contribution! How can he be Peter's brother?!

    Claire finds out that Brody has raped at least one other girl and Claire fakes memory loss then gets Brody to let her drive then drives into a wall. I know she's angry but that's murder.

    The major revelation: Peter doesn't just have one power, he can absorb anyone's powers! He could fly because he was near Nathan! Is this a temporary absorption, just when he's in proximity to someone with powers?

    Peter's attempt to introduce a skeptical Mohinder to Isaac leads Peter to be on a subway train when a Hiro from the future arrives with a bizarre warning: 'Save the cheerleader, save the world'. Mohinder never sees Hiro so thinks Peter is crazy. Hiro also makes an interesting comment about how Peter looks different 'without the scar' are we going to find out about that? Sounds cool.

    There's no doubt now that the characters are connected, either through their powers or by, as Hiro would no doubt say, Destiny.moreless

  • Setting the trap...

    That one was different little than previous, but still - main story still focused on chars and I do love where they are going.

    First Claire - the way she woke up.. oh.. that was disturbing and then the whole thing in school with that boy and the car ride. Wow.. that's a revenge.

    And Hiro seems to have fun in Vegas too. But the main thing for me was the paintings - Isaac seems to be getting that he can paint future and he does want it to do so badly.. And the trap Nathan is going.. oh.. I have no idea what will come up next.. but it is developing so well.moreless

    De a poco los heroes se van encontrando, por casualidad o por medio de una bsqueda. Y de a poco la historia se va esclareciendo y vamos entendiendo de que se trata todo esto? Mmmm... no tanto. S los personajes se siguen presentando y seguimos conocindolos, pero por el otro lo maleable del tiempo y Hiro apareciendo desde el futuro da un poco de ufff... cuanto me falta.
    Pero est bueno esto de que se sepa que la serie va en serio y que ya tienen una idea consumada (ya sasben como va a terminar y eso les permite jugar con el tiempo e insertar cosas que pasarn ahora).moreless

    • When Niki and Nathan are in his hotel room, they are commenting on how high up they are. Yet when Niki is at the elevator, the arrows clearly only point upward, and there is only one button (an up button?) Why would she need to go up if she were on a high floor already? The elevator should be either two way, or simply downward. Edit
    • The woman who is autopsying Claire at the beginning said she was found naked by a lake, which means her cheerleading uniform was taken off and put somewhere. The next day she appears after school with it on when she drives Broody into a wall. Where did she get the unifrom from if no one knows what happened to her but Zach? Also, how does she repair her uniform after trying to kill herself all those times in it, like when she throws herself off that bridge thing? Most cheerleaders only get one uniform. Edit
    • It is clear that from the moment Claire was killed until the moment she escaped the morgue, only a few hours could have passed. When she sneaks home, she has only been gone overnight, not for a period of days. This seems like a very short period of time for the police to have found and recovered the body, so apparently they got lucky or were exceedingly good at their jobs. Edit

    • Zach: No, you're Little Miss Miracle Grow. This is a combination of two allusions. Little Miss Miracle is the title newspapers usually give to children who survives certain situations against all odd, like being born with rare, untreatable and/or incurable diseases or suffering serious accidents or disasters. Miracle Grow is a commercially available liquid fertilizer that claims to cause unusually rapid growth in plants. This is, of course, similar to Claire's ability to quickly heal any injury. Edit
