The eleventh chapter is more thrilling than ever as it is driving the plot towards the events at the end of the volume. Peter is kept captive by the police as they mistakenly believe he has murdered Jackie. After the police discover he has not done so, he is interrogated by Audrey and Matt as to why he was in Odessa in the first place (the scene where both Matt and Peter uses telepathy is funny and cool at the same time). Moreover, Claire visits him and thanks him for saving her life something until he is finally released by his brother and collapses outside the police department after he has a very vivid dream (the purpose of the dream is in fact to make us aware that the explosion will be caused by a person and it is not an actual bomb and also to keep us guessing until the volume finale as to who is really the bomb - you will understand more once you see the second part of Volume 1). Regardless, the dream is the first single event that we get to see all of our Heroes together for the first time.
Claire tells her father the truth and he admits that he has known all along. As Claire feels confident and safe for once that she is not alone (not only because she has told her father the truth but also after she visits Peter and realizes there are others like her out there). However, when both Lyle and Zach (the only two people that know her secret) end up not remembering a single thing about her (not only that but Zach doesn't even remember being friends with Claire) she starts freaking out. The Haitian appears at her house in order to do what was done to her brother and Zach but changes his mind and reveals that not only he won't make her forget but also that he can talk (this scene was shocking).
Matt and Audrey continue their investigation and interrogate both Peter and Claire. Searching for Sylar they come across The Haitian and Claire's suspicious father. Matt remembers the Haitian as the only man who instead of hearing his thoughts he was hearing a static interference (from Chapter 3: One Giant Leap). That and only turns their suspicions on Mr Bennet.
Jessica is still chasing DL. After she shoots him on the shoulder and accidentally hurts Micah Niki resurfaces and ''puts Jessica back in the box''. She realizes the only way for her family and herself to be safe is to be put away. So she asks a police man to arrest her for murder.
Hiro and Ando believing that the cheerleader is dead decide to continue their quest when they get an unexpected call from Isaac Mendez. After they arrange to meet they discuss their notes (Hiro tells Isaac about his little trip into the future in Chapter 2: Don't Look Back, including how he found Isaac dead). Together they decide to stop the bomb and Hiro convinces Isaac to try and paint without the use of drugs. Isaac realizes he has done that after he sees some sketches and manages to paint a painting very peculiar.
Finally Sylar is shown inside a cell with Mr Bennet teasing him. The scenes with Mr Bennet and Sylar show what kind of person Sylar really is (as we have already witnessed in Chapter 10:six months ago), meaning a tormented person who wanted to be special and who is unique amongst the special ones as he is the only one who can have more than one powers at a time.Nevertheless, the best scene of this episode is between Eden and Sylar where Eden tries to make Sylar commit suicide (by using her power of persuasion) but she fails as Sylar proves to be sronger than she thought and she is forced to commit suicide herself rather than let Sylar take her power (here we learn that Sylar cannot take a power from a dead person because as Chandra Suresh said the ability exists in the brain).
Keep in mind that this episode was broadcast before the Christmas vacation and so the multiple cliffhangers are explained. Enjoy!moreless

  • What a story development

That was an episode.. It was all exciting before but the end turn it all into magnificent episode.

First everything with the aftermath of homecoming. Claire and her father talk it out but soon everyone else starts to forget and they know nothing. And then he is sent after Claire. And the listening of Claire in police station.. and ofcourse that cop and Peter in same room.

This episode really did some major developments. Putting Issac back to paint, sending Eden to kill Syler what no way happened.. and Claire getting closer to truth.. but most of all - that little sight to future. That was shocking.moreless

Peter salv a Claire y as al mundo.
Igual recontra banco Heroes.moreless

This episode was just... wow. Woah. Amazing. Claire tells her dad the truth, but of course he already knew about her. Then they go to see Peter Petrelli, and Claire thanks him and calls him her hero. I felt so sorry for Claire in this episode, because her dad wiped out the memories of Lyle, her mom, AND her best friend Zach (who was super cool), and now her memory is going to be wiped out to... uh oh. Issac meets Hiro and Ando, and finally learns how to control his power, but paints a strange picture of Hiro fighting off a dinosaur with a sword. Niki argues with Jessica... again, and it was really cool, but creepy. Niki regains control for a bit, and in the time that she does she does the most noble thing possible and turns herself in so Jessica can't hurt D.L. or Micah. Finally, Peter gets out of the police custody but then he has a strange vision, leading him to falling over and on the hospital grounds... this episode was just stunning and brilliant. I loved it.moreless

    • (Isaac is sketching when Eden walks in) Eden: Anything interesting? Isaac: Nothing predictive if that's what you're asking. I don't think I can do it clean. Eden: You'll get there. Isaac: To be honest it's nice to be drawing just to draw again. That's what I liked about comics, you don't have to take them too seriously. Eden: Good guys catching bad guys. Which reminds me... Claire. The cheerleader... she's alive. (Isaac breathes a sigh of relief) Isaac: Peter. He saved her. Eden: No, you did. With your gift... I mean thanks to you, Sylar won't be able to hurt anybody anymore. Isaac: This means we can change the future. Maybe stop that bomb. Eden: Well, I wish you the best of luck. Isaac: Why? Where you going? Eden: Off the reservation. Isaac: You're leaving... what good is painting the future if no one would do anything to change it. (Eden gave Isaac a kiss on his cheek while slipping a cell phone and a keycard into his hand) Eden: (whispers) So change it. Edit
    • Hiro:And I saw you. Isaac: What about me? Hiro: I saw you on the floor. You were dead. With your head...cut...off. Edit

    • Hiro: Live long and prosper. (and accompanying hand symbol) References Spock and Vulcans from Star Trek. Edit
    • Hiro: What if I step on a bug? I could change history.... This is a tip-of-the-hat to Ray Bradbury's 1952 sci-fi short story "A Sound of Thunder," where time-travelers go on safari hunting dinosaurs. They're allowed to kill them, but can leave no trace of their existence. When one of the hunters steps off the path and kills a butterfly, his entire future is replaced with a much darker world. Edit
    • Claire: It's like the Stepford Body Snatchers or something! 1975's The Stepford Wives and 1956's Invasion of the Body Snatchers are two films about people who start behaving oddly, one by one. In the former, it is because they are being replaced by emotionless, devout robots; in the latter, they are supplanted by alien clones. Both films have been remade, "Invasion" several times, most famously in 1978 and last in 2007, "Stepford" in 2004. Both the 2004 movie and the 2007 movie featured Nicole Kidman. Edit
