Character development. And slight build-up to the finale. How's Hiro gonna do anything? I dunno.

strange. strange strange strange. not that im saying it was Bad..I'm just confused on if I like the whole Peter/Sylar being all chummy good buddy...I think it did change once Peter woke up and he's gonna chop Sylar's head off while his back his turned (after he saves emma).

no Tracy,Angela, Ando,Hiro,Mohinder(if he'll at all be back),Edgar,or Matt.So I'm assuming in the finale that everyone's gonna be in a group or pairs, etc.

I think i liked it..nice build up. I'm doubting the death of Noah..but i think I would be okay with it...maybe.

    Wow. Terrible episode.

It wasn't so much boring as it was ludacris that the writers are trying the "good" Sylar card again. I remember when they tried this in Volume 3 and it was embarassingly painful to watch. I thought it really took credibility away from the character the first time, but this really hurts him in my eyes.

Peter was a joke in this episode. Now I believe in forgiveness, yet Peter has been owned so many times in the series that I would expect him to be at least a bit more hesitant to work with Sylar. Perhaps, he had to bite the bullet as he needed Sylar to help save Emma, but the way this played out was predictable and felt rehashed.

The flashbacks were by far the worst part of this episode. Most of the time when there has been a flashback-themed episode it's been such a bore and this was no exception. I use to like Noah, but I think he's been heavily overexposed lately.

And of course, no season of Heroes is complete without Claire's "shocked" expression whenever she finds out something new about her dad.

I didn't think it could have been worse then last week, but sadly I was mistaken.

Hope next week is much better.

Cactus what the hell do you want them to do? If Sylar was bad and out to kill everyone and so was Samuel, the good heroes would have no chance in hell of winning. It might be weird to you that Sylar turned good, but honestly they were supposed to have been locked together alone in Sylar's mind for what seemed like years to them, that would change people, plus they needed someone with Sylar's power's to be able to fight against Samuel and now they have him.

On another note that multiplicity idiot is about to get owned by Sylar of that much I am sure, "Oh I can change into like 5 guys" good for you guy and Sylar can kill them all in different ways at the same time. I am happy about that cause I have been hoping for somebody to kill that idiot since the first time I saw him.

There was one really nasty plot hole though and that was the whole Lauren got away from multiplicity thing, how would she just get away from that guy? I will let it go cause they need her to save Noah and Claire, but they should have come up with something better then that.

I don't care what anybody says the last to episodes are FINALLY pushing the story forward and in some cool ways at that, that was all I wanted so I am happy.

Were not the company teams supposed to be "one of us, one of them"? She must have a power... I was expecting to see something abnormal about her since she appeared. I hope I am not going to be disappointed.

Hmm, I like the way you are thinking. That would certainly be badass if she had a power all this time and did not show it till now, it would be one hell of a twist indeed. I wonder if it is something that can help dig Noah and Claire out?

I figured they were going to go this way with Sylar when he mentioned last week that he had been there 3 years. They didn't come out and say it but I got the impression that Peter and Sylar had been in there for decades, subjective time. I also though they had some foreshadowing when Peter's Mother said something about not trusting Sylar after only one incident, or something like that. Anyone else think we're leading up to the events in 5 years? Maybe the deaf girl is the mother to Sylars kid. At this point it could even be Clair, that would explain the boys name, Noah. Bill

To not make it seem like Peter and Sylar are kind of "best friends." You do realize that they were forced into a similar storyline in Volume 3, right? And how did that turn out? Personally, I thought it was such a joke.

And you know this how? That's just your opinion.

This I can agree with. I also think he's been rather annoying.

I'm happy for you. Really. But I share a different view as I found the last couple episodes rather underwhelming. Guess we're just going to have to see things differently.

the season was really blah for a while but i like where it's heading now. i for one liked when sylar & peter thought they were brothers and tried to team up in season 3, then of course sylar went nutso again and killed nathan. so i dont feel them spending years together alone and bonding again was much of a shocker, especially considering the future where sylar was gabriel proves that he has the strength to turn. i also did like how the wall would not come down until peter accepted that sylar had changed, which took him many years because he was holding onto his hate. the wall was more of a mental block they had kept up through their mistrust and hatred i guess.

plus, sylars main problem was always his hunger; he's had however many years he was stuck in his own head to deal with that hunger and maybe learn to suppress it like he did in that future.

i am looking forward to the carnival showdown. sylar bad in season 1 was the series at its peak, but he's been on the show so long he either has to be killed off in battle or be a hero/retire and live with little noah. just roaming around on his own occasionally cutting someones head open or trying to become president has gotten old in my book.

and HRG, you have been cool throughout the seasons, but you have been wearing out your welcome so if you die in that trailer that would be fine. maybe it'll make claire finally turn badass like some of those futures we saw her in.

The fact that Bennet is not a model of a "good" guy has been known since season 1. So all we learned were just details.

Matt obviously has a giant broadcaster going notifying the world where Syler is since im still confused how Peter and Samuel know where to find Syler. Samuel used to have his fortune lady but shes pretty much not able to help so how does Samuel know where to send M-man to get both Syler and Peter. Also what exactly does Samuel expect M-man to do except die a quite death?? Samuel basically skinned him alive and Syler got better. Also Why are Peter and Syler loose ends? Did Samuel listen in on the discussion between momma petrelli and Peter and find out that they might be attempting to stop him?

One episode for Hiro to save the current love of his life, Charlie. Im still betting the writers just forget her in the timestream like Peters Irish gal.

Ando at least has a happy ending with his marriage. Cant say that about poor Mohinder whos about 2 months overdue returning to his wife in time.

This is just a minor point finally but HELLO WRITERS!!! what happened to the Inviso Girl???? She wanted to kill Claire but is obviously on a permanent vacation since she cant seem to get back on the show to kill the unkillable girl.

Tracy froze her in today's graphic novel. The storylines for tracy in the graphic novels are better than her screen time..its stupid. But yeaa..and Tracy met up with Lauren to help HRG

hey i noticed one thing when i was watching the preview today...
when Emma was playing the cello in Peter's dream the puppet guy (can't remember his name) was standing in the background (he was a bit blurry) with his hands formed into a position like he was playing the cello.

so i think Emma was controlled by him and forced to play the cello. that explains some things i guess.

I too liked the Sylar/Peter interaction. It was really good for both of them. And Sylar turning good is a good thing to me, cause I always thought that Sylar is torn inside. In season 3 when he wanted to be good he would have made it but it was based on a lie, so it couldnt work. And all trough volume 4 he was shifting and then at the end they came to stop him and erased his mind and memories and put someone else instead, (in my book that was evil) and he didn't kill Angela or Matt or Noah or anybody (I would, and I thought he would too). So I say that it was not a surprise for Sylar to repent and for Peter to forgive, cause Peter knows that Sylar killed Nathan monaths ago, and maybe he wouldnt if they didn't wanted to kill him too. So Peter knows it was a fer fight, where Nathan lost. Sylar is not to blame for what Angela and Noah had done. So in my eyes for the firs time Peter acted like a man not like a boy. And to me it is a great thing. He become a Hero.

I thought that it was going to go in the different direction than this one, it was a surprise that they decided to go along this line (I never suspected this) Sylar stopping Samuel, cause Sylar only can stop Samuel, I thaught they would team up but this is good too. Can't wait to see the finale.

And I dont know what to think about Noah I dont wish for anyone to die. But he had lied once to many for my taste. I don't think I would trust him anymore. So ...

Yet a great episode of volume 5, if the season finale is great, then Heroes has redeemed itself for me.
And here is another how Peter could get his ability back: He arrives at the carnival and absorbs all the abilities and goes crazy!

Ooh. I personally really liked this episode. Nice character development and all that jazz. (:

The whole Claire/Noah thing wasn't really interesting to me, though. And where the heck are

some of the characters that you'd think would have been around?!

So, while I liked this episode, hopefully the season finale next week will be better. (:

Speaking of... this isn't the last season of Heroes, right?

NBC has not renewed it and it's domestic ratings have slipped to an alltime low, so it very well could be, all we can do is wait and see.
