A freeze frame is used when we get a close up shot of Maria's and Connie's boyfriends angrily watching Arnold and Gerald hang with the two girls.
Near the end of "The Baseball", Sheena suddenly disappears right out of thin air.
Arnold's hat stays on his head all the time, even when he does a backflip off the diving board. How did he make it stick to his head? And what kind of life guard would allow you to leave the hat on anyway?
Maria is standing right in front of Arnold when she is writing her address on his hand. When Arnold looks at his hand after that, he can read it normally. So does that mean that Maria can write upside down very easily?
Just before Maria signalizes the boys to come over, the straps on Connie's bathing suit suddenly disappear.
Next to Arnold's "THIS IS NOT MONEY" jar is "Donna Smith's Spelling Book"; Donna Smith is the show's production manager.
Goof: While walking down the stairs, Maria only has three toes on each foot; she has four at the pool.
Maria's Boyfriend: (in an Italian New York accent) Hey, Maria, come over here!
Character Debut: Mickey Kaline.
The girls of the show are based on girls that creator Craig Bartlett liked as a kid.
This is the first time Connie and Maria are shown. The next time we see them is the episode where Phoebe gets skipped up to the 6th grade.
