Arnold and Gerald send the neighborhood alien crazy as they broadcast a mock Halloween radio show. I wanted to review this episode as part of my weekend long Halloween reviews so I watched this Halloween special on Netflix. I do remember loving this Halloween special as a little kid and I still love this Halloween special. The storyline is very original and the whole alien is very good. There was a lot of awesome humor in this Halloween special that really made me laugh. The writers really went all out to make an awesome and Halloween special and it worked. I love how Helga and the others dressed up as aliens. Arnold and Gerald trying to get the truth out when everyone is getting after the aliens. Just loved every moment of this Halloween special that any fan will definitely enjoy. Overall, a funny, creative, and original Halloween special of "Hey Arnold". 10/10

Arnold and Gerald send everyone in an alien panic when they broadcast a fake report. They even have Helga and the rest of the 4th grade class dress up as aliens. But things go too far when a reporter who does specials on aliens hears of their broadcast. Now everyone is after the 'aliens' and Arnold and Gerald have to save their friends and get the truth out.

This has always been one of my favorite Halloween specials of show's I have watched, and it saddens me it is not on anymore when it is Halloween time. I love the whole 'alien' theories on TV shows and I thought this was a great, funny, and scary episode (or, scary if you are a kid). Overall well done, A+ special

So it's Halloween, and the boarders are celebrating their Halloween party. Grandpa and the others think Halloween is scaring people till they scream for mercy, and it's just an adult thing. So Arnold and Gerald, with the help of the neighborhood kids try to scare the boarders with a fake radio transmission about the aliens.

However, the radio prank makes the boarders believe they exist, and that the kids are actual aliens invading the neighborhood. And then, it's transmission goes across the neighborhood, scaring everyone. And Then, the footage of the kids gets shown on live TV by a TV host who has been searching for years for close encounters. And THen, Big Bob tries to stop the aliens, because he "saw" one in North Dakota. And THEn, it's found that Stinky put lights on the water tower, that puts in so much power, it takes out all the lights in the city. And THEN, Arnold, Gerald, and Grandpa try to give peace, but soon the TV host and Big Bob try to follow the kids to destroy them, which shocked the cat, that ate the mouse, who lived in the house, that Jack built! There's a lot of problems in this episode.

Now, this was actually a really cool idea. Just the parody of War of the Worlds, one of the greatest novels of all time is good enough, the TV host is the same voice actor for The Brain in The Pinky and the Brain cartoon, which was really cool. And the determination and fear of the civilians was top-notch. This boarders, Stinky, and Harold were just as hilarious as ever. Overall, awesome Halloween special. 9.5 out of 10.

Arnold and his friends decide to fake an alien attack to scare Arnold's grandfather and the other boarders. But when a radio station picks up on the broadcast, they believe that aliens are really coming to Earth and this causes widespread panic across the town. The townspeople and Helga's father go after the kids, who are still dressed up in their alien costumes because Harold bought permanent paint. In the end, the water tower breaks, the make-up comes off and everyone realizes that it was a hoax.

This episode of Hey Arnold was excellent! It was a perfect kids episode for Halloween. It had the right theme and was comic. It had the perfect twist: a prank gone bad. It was an excellent idea for an episode, seeing as how kids pull pranks everyday, but had enough in it to make it appear unrealistic. An excellent episode of Hey Arnold!
