Hey Arnold!: When did Arnold first realize that Helga loves him?

We know helga loves arnold, and we see arnold helping helga out,giving avice and occasionally i think even giving away little hints that he knows that helga loves him. But does anyone know when he first realized it? How do you think he could've figured it out?

Arnold pretty much knows Helga loves him because he's mostly pretty cool whenever she's mean to him. It's like Arnold has that secretive smile on his face.

Arnold first knew Helga loved him in the hey arnold movie.He was shocked when helga told him she loved him!!!Crazy love birds!

yeah... and then they had to keep it to themselves before the movie ended, by resuming their old ways.

If only Helga wasn't so conflicted in her actions. Though what positive structure of life did she have at home? None to really speak of.

The hey arnold movie was suppose to be a tv movie and the movie was going to be called The Jungle Movie where arnold looks for his parents n his friends ( and his 4th grade teacher ) goes with him to the jungle to look for them. In the movie Arnold and Helga express their freelings and they become girlfriend and boyfriend.

I also heard that they were suppose to make a spin off series of Helga as a teenager and she moved away with her family and she writes to Atnold every once in a while. It was going to be called the patatsias.

Obviousley it won't be made of due to the movie wasn't made and the plot won't make sense without it.

Th movie wasn't made due to they loosing their contract to hey arnold.

Fans made a fanmade spinoff series of it.
