Mugged: When Arnold gets mugged in the street, Grandma teaches him how to defend himself, but the training and fighting starts to get to his head. I thought this was a superb episode. That guy hurting Arnold in the beginning is the reason why my score low. Other than that, this episode has a great storyline. There are some humor such as Arnold training (all of them), Arnold kicking Harold, Arnold getting the bullies run off, Arnold saying "Are you talking to me?" to the mirror(the funniest part), Arnold getting the bus pack then freaking the bully off. Overall a superb episode. 9/10

Roughing it: Grandpa, Arnold, and Gerald are all going on an old fashioned camping trip... until Big Bob, Helga, and Phoebe show up with luxurious camping equipment.Another superb episode. Not my favorite episode, but I like the storyline to it. There are some parts that I laughed such as Gerald wanting to go to the thing, but Grandpa refuses to, Arnold throwing up after eating a berry, Gerald thinking they're saved while it actually Helga, Phoebe, and Big Bob arriving, Big Bob thinking he lost in Spanish, and a couple others. The ending was cool though. Overall, a superb episode of Hey Arnold. 9/10moreless
  • Great episode.

    9.3
This episode was great because finally Arnold learns how to defend himself and many things but he starts hitting peole with his talent and people get mad for it. I think this episode was great and cool because Arnold fights and I realy liked the part when Arnold's grandma hits the fly and the way Arnold hited a man in the street and started crying and running away and I really like it and deserves a a good rating.

Also the other episode was great because Arnold and Gerald go camping but they encounter with Helga and Phoebe that apparently are in the same camping site and they do many things and I really enjoyed this episode because it was about camping and hicking in the woods.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (6)

    • Grandpa's car's license plate is "HEAP," but in "The Vacant Lot," it's "RETIRED."

    • Major Goof: Just before Arnold falls down the chimney, he has three arms.

    • Major Goof: At the end of the first training scene (when Arnold first tries to catch the fly), one of Arnold's feet has no toes.

    • In "Mugged," when Mrs. Vitello closes her shop, it shows her with blond hair, then gray.

    • When Helga kicks Phoebe, when she mentions Helga's "I hate hiking chant," Phoebe drops her fork, which falls onto the table. As soon as the fork hits the table, the egg which was on the fork, disappears (and no, the egg on the ground shown when Helga kicks her is not the egg).

    • In "Mugged," when Arnold shows the other boarders and the neighbors some karate moves, Ernie Potts' hair is black. A few minutes later, it is back to its normal red color.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Arnold: Hey, Gerald. You asleep?
Gerald: Are you kidding? Mosquitoes, poison berries, Grandpa snoring. How am I supposed to sleep?
Arnold: Yeah, I wish Grandpa haven't eat all those beans.
      (Grandpa farts)
Gerald: Least it covers up the skunk smell.

    • Arnold: (using his instincts) Camp, should be right... there!
      (the group cheers happily)
Arnold: But we've got to follow this path around because...
Big Bob: Forget the path, kid! Camp's right there! (runs through the tall bushes alone and back into the camp cheering to himself)
Arnold: I was just going to say, because that's poison ivy.

    • (after most of his devices are destroyed)
      Big Bob: We're lost!
Helga: Lost?! I thought you knew where we were!
Big Bob: I've been totally lost since we've seen all those signs in Spanish!

    • Grandpa Phil: Everything in nature is beautiful... unless it's ugly.

    • Arnold: (Into a mirror) Hey! You talkin' to me? You... talkin' to me?
Grandpa Phil: No, I didn't say anything.

  • NOTES (2)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Arnold: Hey, you talkin' to me?
This is a reference to the 1976 movie, Taxi Driver, where a guy talks into a mirror and keeps saying, "Hey, you talkin' to me? You talkin' to me?"
