I didn't find "The Racing Mule" interesting at all. Enough said, so let's move on to "Curly's Girl", one of my favourite episodes!

Story: Rhonda gets into a situation after she ruins her mother's mink coat and Curly is the only one who can get her out of it in time. But for repayment, she has to pretend to be his girlfriend for a week.

I happen to have a soft spot for Curly, so I love episodes that focus on him, and I also adore episodes that explore his relationship with Rhonda. Sure, he is very creepy with the way he goes about it (First line in this episode: "Oh, you pretty princess. Your mink is so soft, so inviting" to which Rhonda pulls away, yelling at him to get away from her), but that's hilarious.

After Rhonda "dumps" Curly (in a very brutal and unnecessarily cruel way), everyone turns on her, which has she and Curly getting back together briefly. But after a kiss scene, Curly overhears Rhonda talking to herself about how she hates being in the situation, and in turn, "dumps" her cruelly.

Highlights of this episode: Which to choose - well, my top three, OK:

    1. Rhonda and Curly on the bus when they first act as a couple. It's played a little too obviously that Rhonda is pretending so it does feel strange that everyone believes it, but it's very entertaining to see Rhonda feeling so awkward when Curly tells everyone on the bus that Rhonda is now his girlfriend.

    2. Rhonda's monologue to herself in the girls' bathroom. When Rhonda runs off after the kiss to rinse her mouth, her monologue is very entertaining.

    3. The ending, when Rhonda and Curly finally talk, and there's some development. Curly explains that he dumped her because he knew that she hated being in the situation, and she, in turn, thanks him and admits that he is an "okay guy". Of course the moment is ruined since Curly immediately asks Rhonda for a lock of her hair, but it still stands as a wonderful scene.

Trust me, I haven't ruined the episode. There's tons more to get out of it than what I've told you, so go watch the ep!moreless

The Racing Mule:''Mr. Hyunh, Oskar, and Ernie purchase a race horse, or so they think. I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Hey Arnold". The storyline was well written and there were some very funny parts to really keep me entertained and smiling. Mr. Hyunh, Oskar, and Ernie purchasing a racehorse but didn't realize that it was actually a mule was funny. It was also funny that the mule only loves Arnold while it does not like Mr. Hyunh, Ernie, or Oskar. Oskar's part in this episode was very funny. Arnold being a jockey for the mule was very cool also. It was cute when Arnold was singing to the mule "You Are My Sunshine" when the mule wasn't feeling well. The racing scene towards the last few minutes of the episode was also very good as well and I'm glad that the mule won. Overall, an excellent episode of "Hey Arnold". 10/10

Curly's Girl:''Curly gets Rhonda to act like his girlfriend after something happens to Rhonda's mothers' fur coat. Although, my least favorite episodes are the ones that focus on Rhonda.... this episode that focuses on Rhonda wasn't bad at all and it's possible the best Rhonda episode I've seen. I don't hate the Rhonda episodes but that character just isn't interesting and can be a brat. The storyline with Rhonda pretending to be Curly's girlfriend after Curly got rid of the red stain on Rhonda's mother's coat was very funny and well done. I loved how everyone felt bad for Curly when Rhonda broke up with him and I also loved how Curly broke up with Rhonda towards the end of the episode and then everyone feels bad for Rhonda. Stinky was also hilarious in this episode such as when he said "Man, those two love birds sure have a rollercoaster going up and down". The very ending to the episode was cute and hilarious as well. Overall, an excellent episode of "Hey Arnold"... surprisingly, this Rhonda episode wasn't bad at all and it's probably the best I've seen from this character. 10/10moreless
