At the end of this episode as both Ted's capture the flag team and Brad's team head for the flagpole, Ted and Brad supposedly bang heads. If you watch closely, you will see that their heads never actually even come close to each other. They just bang arms.
(Mr. Ernst looks at the American flag flying up the flagpole)
Mr. Ernst: And so begins another glorious day at The Bar None Ranch. You know kids, I sure am glad I came here.
Ted: Heres the plan: Danny you go in and hit the lights creating a diversion, while I go in and get the flag.
Melody: What do I do?
Ted: You repel off the roof, swing in through the window and lay down some cover okay?
Melody: Hes serious isn't he?
Danny: I'm afraid so.
(Ted walks up with a cardboard box)
Jake: Whats in the box?
Brad: Hey, did your brain finally arrive?
Jake: You know that is the trouble with ordering major organs through the mail, delivery can take weeks.
Brad: Why did you make Ted senior staff?
Mr. Ernst: The Bar None's previous owner, Mr. Smelt, recommended him for the job.
Brad: Did he say why?
Mr. Ernst: Yes, he said he was a good, hard worker and I believed him.
Lucy does not appear in this episode.
There was some talk about doing an additional 13 episodes of Hey Dude, but Nickelodeon wanted to move all of its shows to Universal Studios. Since it was impossible to tape Hey Dude on a sound stage the show was canceled.
