Hey, Jeannie! aka The Jeannie Carson Show, was a program featuring actress Jeannie Carson as Jeannie MacLennan.
The show started out telling the tale of a Scots tranplant to the United States who befriends and helps a New York taxi cab driver.
After that format aired for one season, the show got retitled and reworked with the format of Jeannie taking on the job of an airline stewardess.
Under the first format, the show lasted for 26 episodes on CBS. With the second format, it only lasted six episodes in syndication. In 1960, it re-aired on ABC with the title Jeannie Carson.
