  • Paula gets tired, and craziness ensues...

I'm not sure how much I can write for this episode. I usually have comments that are both good and bad, but for such a strange show it's hard to analyse the acting, the performance or anything you can normally critique about a show.

As a Brit, I love watching these crazy reality shows to wash up on our shores. Paula Abdul was famous in the UK but not as famous as I think in America. In Episode Three, she's called "America's Little Sweetheart", so I think her reputation in the UK is of a slightly lesser degree.

I possibly shouldn't take pleasure out of watching this second episode of a programme following around Paula Abdul's life, but after she had no sleep for a week, she went absolutely loopy. The scenes when she is testing her perfume, when she was crouched down on the floor telling the people what pleasurable smells there were on the blotters, were just crazy. Then she fell asleep, and gave confusing performances for the FOX affiliate interviews.

I have to admit, however, that I did feel very sorry for her when the American tabloids seemed to be making out she was on drugs and particularly drunk, but you cannot fail to come to that conclusion when she was so exhausted she was falling asleep in meetings.

If this is the way her life really is, then she deserves a rest because it seemed extremely hectic and a bit overpowering visiting all the charity events.

It's great entertainment and I laughed all the way through this second episode, which I feel slightly guilty for..moreless
