Hidden Palms

Skip, Greta's dad, is flirting with a girl, and Greta is watching with a disgusted look on her face. Johnny comes up and she lets him know that Skip is staying for a while.

Cliff and Mrs. Nolan are in bed. They talk and Cliff says that she worried him disappearing. He has to leave, to go meet Nikki.

Greta and Johnny go to Johnny's house and he shows her the angel costume. Greta asks him where he got it, and she tells him that it has nothing to do with him. Johnny says that because Eddie died in his room it has a lot to do with him. Greta tells him that she was at the club and drinking and was scared to face Eddie after she told him she slept with Cliff. She says that Eddie didn't show up, so Cliff was going to go to Eddie's house. She was scared so she went too. When she got there Eddie was dead on the floor. She said after that she ran, and Cliff found him and brought her back to his house because there were police everywhere and she was covered in blood. Greta tells Eddie that that's the whole truth.

Skip is talking to Karen, Johnny's mother, and asks her what he should get Tess for her birthday party tonight. She suggests her perfume to give her. Bob comes up and asks what it was about. He says that something about Skip rubs him the wrong way. Karen goes to meet Tess for their golf lessons.

Cliff asks Nikki to be his date to Tess's party. Nikki says she hasn't had a date before, and that she's never had a real boyfriend before. Cliff says that she'd love to be her first.

Tess says that she can't thank Karen enough for hosting her 40th birthday party. She asks if Skip is coming.

Liza says that she doesn't really believe Greta's story. She says that she's going to give the dress to the police. Johnny talks her out of it and says that Greta is going to talk to Cliff.

Greta talks to Cliff about how he didn't destroy her angel costume. She says that the secrets out. Skip comes up and Greta leaves. Cliff goes home and realizes that the dress really is gone.

Karen and Tess are talking and Skip comes up and says that he's coming. His girl that he's dating, Monica, comes up and says she can't wait for Tess's 50th party.

Johnny is at home and sees Cliff's room through his window. Johnny turns around to see Cliff right behind him. They go over the story again and Johnny asks why he covered it up that he and Greta where there. Cliff asks Johnny if he blamed himself for his father's death. Cliff tells Johnny to just let it go.

Bob and Karen talk about Skip. He thinks that Skip and Karen are flirting, and it reminds him of how he and Karen met.

Tess asks Steve, her gay golf instructor, if he will come to her birthday party with her to make Skip jealous. Liza comes into her garage and sees Cliff's mask on her desk. He comes out of the shadows and says the mask belongs to Eddie. He apologizes and says that they are alike, how they both loved Johnny. He tells her that he isn't the bad guy she thinks he is. She looks in the closet, but the angel costume is gone.

Tess sees Skip with Monica and she introduces Steve at the party in Johnny's house.

Cliff tells Johnny that he's here with Nikki. Johnny asks why Cliff kept the dress all this time. Cliff asks why Liza wants the dress so bad.

Tess sees Maria Nolan.

Skip comes and starts kissing Karen when Bob comes up.

Johnny asks Nikki if her and Cliff are a thing. She goes to find Cliff.

Bob and Skip talk and Bob tells Skip to stay away from Karen.

Skip sees Steve flirting with another man.

Maria Nolan is sitting in Johnny's room when Cliff comes in. They start making out and Nikki sees.

Skip tells Johnny to be careful with Greta. Maria Nolan walks up and says it's good to see both of them.

Skip sees Steve flirting with a man again.

Liza tells Johnny that the dress is gone.

Cliff talks to Nikki and she tells him to stay away from her.

Tess is drinking and Skip walks up and plays with her about Steve.

Johnny asks Greta why Cliff took the dress.

Skip starts dancing with Karen and Bob comes up and punches him.

Karen apologizes to Tess for Bob, but Tess says Bob beat her to it. Skip apologizes to Tess, and Tess says that Skips a waste then they kiss.

Johnny is cleaning up and sees Nikki crying. She tells him about Cliff and Maria.

Bob apologizes to Karen for hitting Skip, and she asks him to tell her the truth. He says he feels guilty about how they met. How Karen cheated on her husband and Bob betrayed his best friend.

Johnny is holding Greta's dress, and Greta is crying at Eddie's grave.

Maria and Skip meet and she tells him that they have a problem.
