High Flyers

Show Summary

High Flyers is an Australian television show that debuted in early 1999 and went off air in the middle of 2001. Created by David Olgilvy and produced by Noel Price, the 30-minute drama follows a diverse group of kids who are in a children's circus. Cared for by the ringmaster, Caz (Jane Hall), the children learn about their talents and their peers. Developing friendships along the way, the children hone their talents and grow closer as friends. They also learn important life lessons as they encounter new situations. The children's circus exists in a small, rural town, and the circus children befriend some new local children, including Phoebe (Emily Browning). This helped launch her career from precocious young actress into a burgeoning star. High Flyers provides kids with a positive viewing experience, allowing them to view kids following their dreams, honing their special skills and finding and helping their friends along the way.
