Ok i dont get this.when i heard about HSM 3 i thought "they should have stopped at the second one but if they want to do this im not one to argue" but when i read in a magazine that they're gonna do a HSM 4(and i know this might shock you)but i thought "they are really pushing it" i think they should stop because the viewers are gonna lose interest.

I know, you're right. I thought the 3d one would be the last one since it's coming to theaters but I guess not. If they want to make a HSM 4, at least make it about them in college, or College Musical, or something.

I agree. This isn't beating a dead horse as much as it is beating the horse to death.

Yeah, I mean that is just way too much.
How are they going to make a High School musical 4 when it's not even going to be in high-school anymore? Won't they start seperating or something...

Disney is making too much of a formerly-good thing...but as long as ppl will watch and they get money for it...they'll keep on making them...

New cast members. I think HSM3 is supposed to have a few newcomers in it.

I have to admit, the first one was great. the second was...ehhhh...not so good. they probably should have created a better plotline for the sequel. But they should have stopped there. In my opinion, I dont see the High School Musical series as being a trilogy.

But dont worry. I dont think Disney has plans to make a fourth. But its Disney and they're running out of ideas fast...so who knows? there could be high school musical 16. Let's just hope that doesn't happen

On another note: WATCH "The Mole" Mondays @ 10/9c on ABC. just please, give it a shot...what is there to lose?

i agree . i really don't think they should have had a hsm 2 but i kind of enjoyed it. to me, disney should leave the hit standing on top. hsm2 is good but hsm3 is pushing it and don't even think about having a hsm4 . when hsm came out it was great mostly everybody loved it but when hsm2 came out, the reviews kind of slipped. if they keep trying to top everything it won't be worth anything b/c it's going to be overkill. they are already practically shoving hsm merchandise down your throat when you walk in stores but enough is enough. they need to stop while its good instead of ppl getting sick of it and begging for disney to take it away.

I hate to say it but nobody atleast not the Teen Girls of this generation are going to watch HSM 4 if Zac Efron is not in it. Disney is beating a dead horse a Trilogy IMO is fine but still how can they attract the viewers if there not going to have the Whole cast maybe none of the Cast back for the 4th one.

Ashley,Vanessa & Zac have already stated they won't be back for the fourth one. Disney wants to have a whole new cast for HSM4 and I'm sorry to Disney but I don't think any true HSM fan would watch it, except for the little kids that could careless about who's in it. I know I wouldn't watch it, I honestly just can't picture HSM without any of the original kids in it. It's just not the same. They should stop at HSM3. Because from the previews for the third one, it looks pretty good actually and I was skeptical at first.
