exactly. BUT you will probably change your mind once you actually do the movie. All those hard days of dancing.. singing.. acting.. all together.. its tiring. trust me. PLUS, you gotta sleep there in a trailer for like.. a month. just to finish the movie. If that was me.. omg, i'd be so homesick..

I know i keep saying this but i've been a Disney Channel fan for a long time, & say i was one of the "chosen few" to be a part of the HSM phenomenon(sp) & then i found out ill be doing the sequel, awesome! & then they tell me i'm in the 3rd one & its going to be in theaters, id take a stand right there, being a disney fan myself you know. I wouldnt want to pay $10 & go to the movie with a bunch of 10-13 yr old girls screaming for zac, corbin, lucas, etc...& i wouldnt wish that on any fans...you know what i mean??

& also i heard during the publicity for the first one that it was always intended to be a trilogy (3 movies) so they have (imo) to do the 3rd one...but the 4th will be taking it too far...i mean, i LOVE the Halloweentown series but i felt way more mature now when i rewatched Halloweentown high & return to halloweentown...& i think there will be a 5th for the 10 year anniversary but if its anything like 3 & 4...& hsm 3 goes to theaters...i might have to stop watching disney...

I'm sorry if im rambling lol

Well, HSM2 is 5 months after HSM1, but 18 months after when it aired, so there could be one in the beggining of senior year, and one at the end

Some (old) news for HSM 4: They're in talks of doing it, but they probably won't have any of the original cast members. It might be about the new characters in HSM 3. Zac and Vanessa said they are NOT doing HSM 4. (My opinion, I'm glad they're not, and I hope Disney kills this idea)

What's the point of doing one without Zac or Vanessa?

Since they added a few new characters, it looks like they're trying to continue the series with a new cast. I don't like it, and I'm pretty sure this will morph into an example of beating a dead horse.

I am so gonna go see HSM3 when it comes out. As for HSM4, that is AWESOME news for me! When I start likin' a movie, I don't want the series to end with just 3 or 2, especially when the characters are still in high school. If they have to change the name from High School Musical 4 to College Musical, so be it! I just wanna see it! I love sequels.

Ugh I think they should just stick with a trilogy. IF theres a HSM 4 and Zac and Vanessa say there not coming back What would be the point. It would be just pointless.

Hsm 3 is fine because it's the graduation, where they will seperate say goodbyes, etc. Its the best possible way for the movies to finish on a high.
Making a 4th is just too much. It will be overstaying its welcome and it will be going too far, until it makes people sick of it.

HSM3 looks really good from the previews I saw. But I heard that none of the original cast would be in the fourth one. Vanessa Hudgens even told E! News that in the third one they were graduating so a fourth movie would really make no sense unless it was like a "College Musical" or something and I personally agree with her. I love HSM but a fourth one is kinda silly.

why must disney do this with all their movies?? they should've stopped after the 1st movie. a 4th HSM is wayy too much.
