  • A more or less Joe centered episode.

While trying to do a favor for Joe Duncan runs into an Immortal he knew in the 20’s. Killer for hire Johnny K. Now he wants Mac’s head since he knows what he looks like. Also, an old flame of Joe’s come looking for him. In this episode, as with Season 4’s episode Timeless, the B story line was much stronger. Joe gets more back story and character development in this episode. For what is probably the first time we see Joe treating his handicap as a handicap. We’ve never seen it stand in his way before. However with his reunion with his high school love it becomes an issue for him when he doesn’t want her to see him as something other than what he was in high school. There were some very touching moments between Joe and Betsy, and between Joe and Mac. It’s too bad the rest of the story wasn’t as good.
