At approximately 17 minutes into the episode, Dr. Leonard and Chief Mathews talk at the squad car. The ranch they are at is supposed to be in an extremely remote location. Yet loud super highway sounds can be easily heard in the background, indicating that the shooting location was just off one of the busy California freeways. Also seen in the background is car traffic when the scenario is a washed out road just after a flood. Finally, during the same scene, a semi can clearly be heard using engine brakes to slow down (also known more recently as Jake Brakes.)
