Highway Patrol

Using forensic science like metal work and foot print analysis to help solve a crime, Dan must use all resources available to find the criminals behind a daring armed robbery using a perfectly replicated armored truck, which has already resulted in one murder.

As a result of an APB broadcast on radio stations, Dan picks up the trail of a murderous con man heading out into the desert. The only way to catch up with him is by air.

A ranger calls the Highway Patrol when he sees a small plane coming down in what he thinks is an emergency landing. Mathews arrives to find the empty plane intact and the ranger murdered.

Using a lie detector, and his intuition, Dan must sort out who is telling the truth about an attempted robbery of an old woman who owns a motel and her eager to help nephew.

An injured young hood takes hold up in a mountain cabin and is helped by a woman, while her husband contacts a nearby ranger. The man comes to, and takes the woman hostage, just as Dan closes in from the sky.

A bank messenger responsible for transporting large sums of money is pressured by his wife to steal one of the shipments, only he finds out she plans on taking the loot and running away with another man.

Chief Dan Mathews sets up a sting to try and find out the source of heroin that is craftily being smuggled to pushers behind the hubcaps of unsuspecting tourists who frequent a certain resort.

A crook has what appears to be a perfect racket. His men cause trucks to have accidental break-downs on the roadway, and then he sends out a service to repair the trucks. His plans works until two things happen. A trucker turns down the service, calling the Highway Patrol instead, and one of the crooks/road mechanics ends up dead.

An ex-mob boss turned witness refuses to be guarded in a hotel, so Dan and team set up defenses on the man's ranch, spending five days fending off a sharp shooter, a car bomb, and explosives in a package.

A Highway Patrolman stops a young man for exceeding the speed limit and then becomes suspicious of all the spare parts in the car, only to have the boy panic and accidentally run over the officer.
