Episode Recap

Phil briefs the officers on Tatum's death and how to handle the media, and mentions Belker going undercover as a blind man. LaRue flirts with one of the belles of St. Mary's Catholic school. Renko and Hill pick up a senator's son during a drug bust. Tatum's mother and sister storm the precinct, demanding to see the place where their son and brother was killed. The suspect wanted for questioning in his death has cleared out of his hotel room, and Coffey is on desk assignment because of suspicion surrounding the death.

Coffey is raked over the coals by attorneys looking to incriminate him for Tatum's death. Ray rivals it out with Goldblume, and Furillo overhears Davenport making a drink date with Clark Galloway. Bates is made to testify about Coffey, and Fay tells Furillo that Groban wants her to get an abortion. LaRue has little luck getting a gig for Vic Hitler. Furillo must break the news to Belker that his father just passed away.

LaRue doesn't get as far as he figured with Kristie (the high school girl). Renko and Hill pick up the biker suspect wanted in connection with Tatum's death. Davenport turns down the job with the Justice Department, and Furillo makes a proposal.
