NC-4: First Across the Atlantic - A woman in Saratoga, CA wants to know if a small square of fabric really came from the first aircraft to make the transatlantic journey. Elyse Luray investigates the story of the NC-4 aircraft and its historic voyage. Howard Hughes Crash - On July 7, 1946, Howard Hughes takes the first flight in his XF-11, designed to be the highest, fastest spy plane ever. But the propeller failed, and Hughes crashed in Beverly Hills, destroying two homes. Sixty years later, a man in Wyoming wants to know if he really owns a part from this historic plane. Professor Lowe's Hot Air Balloon - Is a piece of fabric really from Prof. Lowe's Aeronautical balloon 'Enterprise' after it was destroyed upon landing in 1862?
