I was told that Bob Crane, Werner Klemperer and John Banner all starred  in a motion picture together.  Does anyone know if this is true and what the name of the movie was?

It is indeed true.  The film was 1968's "The Wicked Dreams of Paula Schultz."

It does not appear to be widely available, possibly due to its low box office take.  Special order through a video rental or retail outlet would likely be a good bet.  Good luck, and please post if you find it.

I have not, but my interest in it has been rejuvenated since our discussion here.

The movie seems to be largely unavailable for purchase, although Amazon has a hit-tracking page set up here: http://www.amazon.com/Wicked-Dreams-Paula-Schultz/dp/B000GBORYS. If there is enough interest (and Web visits,) I believe Amazon may provide it for sale. Regardless, I still suggest visiting your local video rental or retail store and requesting it -- those folks likely have more available avenues than we do.

Apparently the movie was based upon a novel or vice versa. The book version is widely available at all of the usual outlets. If I should find it, I will post the details. Please do so if you find it first.

    Good luck.

It's a pretty lame movie although Elke Sommer is smoking hot in the film.  One thing that might be of interest is the fact that Burkhalter (Leon Askin) is cast as a subordinate of Klink (Werner Klemperer).  Kinda weird to see Burkhalter taking orders from Klink.
