    they wouldn't fit in at all with the people around them for one thing

    and there are sorts of historical reasons it just wouldn;t work

    also it wouldn't nearly as funny or entertaining

    yes, considering how much more brutal the japanese were to the prisoners. well...if you think about it, all countries are. it's just, at that certain time, the japanese were extremely cruel with their prisoners. it just wasn't the germans. =^_^=
