    Ivan who played Kinch died March 16 at his home in Charlotte North Carolina of complications from to kidney failure. He had been ill since 2002.

    ...Wow. That's a shame. I guess we all gotta go sometime, tho eh? I guess I'll watch a couple "Kinch" heavy episodes of Hogan's Heroes to commemorate his passing..."The Prince of the Phone Company", and "The Softer they Fall" are two that come to mind. Ivan "The Spook at your Door" Dixon...R.I.P.

    If I'm not mistaken, "The Spook at your Door" was Dixon's first foray into directing in the early 70's...

    Does anyone know why he left "Hogan's Heroes" in 1970? Was he just tired of it?
