    • TRIVIA (3)

    • QUOTES (8)

      • Hogan: I'd like to make a request.
Klink Request denied. What is it?

      • Hogan: I wondered if you'd care to celebrate by giving us two extra hours of electric light in the barracks.
Klink: Mm hmm, so you can have more time for digging your escape tunnel.
Hogan: We've already finished the tunnel; we're working on an elevator now.

      • (Hogan is kissing Helga passionately)
Hogan: This is the only way to fight the war, you know that.
Helga: Ja, but I wish that we would be on the same side.
        Hogan: I'll come over.

      • Hogan: What are the forgery boys workin' on?
Kinchloe: Uh, fake raffle tickets -- we've been sellin' 'em to the Krauts.

      • LeBeau: Colonel, this is the wine for Klink.
Hogan: It's not our best stuff, is it?
LeBeau: For him? Are you kidding? It's practically vinegar.

      • Hogan: Helga, how would you like to go to a party tomorrow night?
Helga: Wunderbar! Oh, I love parties. But what is the occasion?
        Hogan: Hitler's birthday.
Helga: (disappointed) Oh. Well, maybe we'll have a good time anyway.

      • (Hogan gives the other Heroes orders, they respond with 'You got it')
Hogan: All right, let me see, we got uniforms, orders, transportation. Did I forget anything?
LeBeau: Yeah, how about assigning a couple of guys to help me off with my girdle?
        Hogan: You got 'em.

      • Hogan: Now who's gonna step forward and take this job? Thank you, LeBeau.
        LeBeau: I didn't move a muscle.
Hogan You've got that 'volunteer' look. (everyone else leaves)
LeBeau: That's how I got married. 'Volunteered' the same way.

    • NOTES (2)

      • This episode appears first on the VHS collection's "Frauleins of Stalag 13" volume.

      • Howard Caine first appears in this episode as Major Keitel. After one more guest appearance in #37 "The Ballad of Stalag 13" as Colonel Feldkamp, he would return in episode #54 "Heil Klink" and a number of subsequent episodes in the recurring role as Gestapo Major Hochstetter.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Hogan: Does Macy tell Gimbel?

Hogan uses this phrase when Klink asks about a prisoner's ability to get wine. It was first made popular in the 1930s and refers to two rival department stores.
