      • Klink: What was that dog doing here?
        Hogan: He didn't say.

      • Klink: Oh, oh, oh, General Burkhalter! Ho, ho, ho, what a pleasure to see you, sir!
Burkhalter: Klink, how is it that you get so much more pleasure out of seeing me than I do out of seeing you?

      • LeBeau: Can't we please keep him, Colonel? He's a great watchdog.
Hogan: LeBeau, this is a prison camp. Nobody's breakin' in!

      • Klink: What's going on here? Why isn't this man at attention?
Hogan: I believe he's fainted, Kommandant.
Klink: That's no excuse -- that's very unmilitary.
Hogan: I'll speak sharply to him when he comes to.

      • (After the prisoners "find" the camera planted by Klink.)
Hogan: Newkirk, take this to Klink's office. Someone may be looking for it, huh?
        Klink: Never mind. Hold it!
        Hogan: Colonel Klink.
Newkirk: Oh, you saved me a trip, sir. I was just going to take this camera to your office.
Hogan: Yeah, some idiot left it here.
Schultz: Careful what you are saying! The idiot you are talking about is Kommandant Klink!

      • Carter: Go on, say it! It's all my fault, why don't you say it?
Hogan: All right, it's all your fault.

      • Hogan: The dog doesn't belong to us; he's lost. And the owner has offered a reward for his return: a hundred marks.
Schultz: A hundred marks for that!? What are we waiting for? Let's collect the reward!
Hogan: What's the rush? It'll go up to five hundred marks and we're partners.
Schultz: (laughing) Come on. Who would be that stupid to give so much money?
        Hogan: General Brettscheider?
Schultz: Ja, he is that stupid.
