    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Carter's ungloved hands are seen in an early scene, revealing Larry Hovis' real-life wedding ring. The actor commonly wore gloves as he refused to remove the band during filming.

      • Newkirk draws an uncommonly good caraciture of Carter during one of Schultz's barracks inspections.

      • Art imitates life in this episode: Adolf Hitler actually was a student of ESP and occultist studies. He was also a student of astrology which will be mentioned in later episodes.

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Klink: To use an American expression, while you were asleep at the switch, I uncovered a fly in the ointment. (laughs) What do you say about that?
Hogan: Well, for one thing, Colonel, you're mixing your metaphors!

      • (Kintzler's engine is not silent)
Newkirk: They call that a noiseless engine.
Kinch: Maybe he's using cheap gas.
Hogan: By George, I don't think he's got it.

      • Klink: Herr Kintzler, I can not tell you how impressed I am with your plane.
        Kintzler: Hah!
        Klink: I beg your pardon?
        Kintzler: I said, 'hah.'
Klink: I'm sure that the Luftwaffe will be impressed tomorrow.
Kintzler: They won't. They like noise.

      • Klink: Schultz, did you see that these men were gambling? (Schultz stutters) Never mind, Schultz. You can't see over your stomach.

      • Klink: I have this, uh, certain ability to anticipate trouble. A kind of sixth sense; ESP. So there is nothing to be alarmed about.
Burkhalter: I'll be as alarmed as I like.
