This episode shows how much fun the men of Barracks 3 can have. When the Inspector General shows up to promote Klink to Berlin, Hogan and his men must quickly ad-lib some pranks on Klink and the General to discredit poor Colonel Klink so he stays as Kommandant. The series of pranks are hilarious and culminate with the boys removing the engine of the General\\\\\\\'s staff car and the General telling Klink he is under arrest. The funniest scence in this episode is when a replacement staff car is ordered to take the General back to Berlin. Lebeau and Carter, in German uniforms, drive up and pick up the General, Schultz looks into the front of the car and sees Lebeau and Carter, the look on his face is priceless as he and Lebeau look at each other then Schultz tightly closes his eyss in disbelief.moreless

    • Schultz: What is this?
Hogan: This is a lecture I have to give every six months, Schultz. It's Army regulation.
Schultz: Uh, uh, uh, I don't believe you.
Hogan: You wanna know what we were really doin'?
      Schultz: No!

    • (after Kinchloe switches on a tape of a BBC broadcast in the presence of Klink, Schultz, and the Inspector General)
Klink: Schultz! Where is that radio?
      Schultz: They didn't tell me!

    • Klink: I am well aware, Colonel Hogan, there is nothing you and your men would not do to try to undermine my position, even to have me replaced.
Hogan: Replace you, are you kidding? We'd do anything to keep you here.

    • Hogan: Carter, get into a German uniform. I need another German.
      Kinch: How about me?
      Hogan: Don't be funny.

    • Hogan: If I told you once, I told you a thousand times, don't overdo it. Don't oversell, right? Then I went out and did it.

    • Von Platzen: Only in Camp 13 have there been no escapes.
Klink: You mean, I'm to be retained?
      Von Platzen: No.
      Klink: No?
Hogan: No? You're making a big mistake, General!
      Klink: Get off my side!

    • Newkirk: Hey, Schultz! Schultz! I think we got a man missing!
      Schultz: Who cares?

    • Von Platzen: B-17's! Barbarians! Now they're bombing prison camps!
Klink: It is our leader's fault. He told us that German soil would be sacred! What am I saying?
