    • TRIVIA (1)

    • QUOTES (8)

      • Shultz: It's illegal for one man to be in two armies in the same war!

      • Lebeau: (Reading the name off his stolen nametag) Kornhauser! What a name! Bet he's glad I took it off him!

      • Klink: My father always said "Whatever you do in life, do it the best. The very best."
Burkhalter: You should've taken his advice.

      • Spear: Good luck, Mueller, and give it to those Allies!
        Newkirk: I will...the first chance I get.

      • Klink: (to Spear) You may not know it, sir, but we have never had an escape here, not one single escape!
Hogan: Remarkable, never an escape from Stalag 13, not one!
LeBeau: No, not one. Maybe a hundred, but not one.

      • Newkirk: Where's Carter?
Hogan: He's wiring the TNT. We'll all be out of work tomorrow.
Newkirk: Wouldn't you know it, right before I get my raise.

      • Schultz: Colonel Hogan, please tell me it is not true what I just heard. Please tell me it is not true.
        Hogan: What isn't true, Schultz?
Schultz: That Newkirk enlisted in the German army?
Hogan: He's in the German army, but don't worry: he'll visit you when he comes home on furlough.

      • Newkirk: (as foreman of the German cannon factory) Come on, come on! The boys at the front are waiting for those cannons.
LeBeau: I can't wait until he's 65 and they lay him off.
        Hogan: He's drunk with power.
Newkirk: Just get on with it.

    • NOTES (2)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Hogan: I think Fourth of July is gonna be a little early this year.

Hogan alludes to Independence Day in the United States of America, a holiday when fireworks are customarily displayed to celebrate America's freedom.

      • LeBeau says "I can't wait until he's 65 and they lay him off."

This is a clear allusion to union rules and associated tensions of the era.
