  • a heartbreaking episode

this episode was heartbreaking, although it didn't live up to episode Seasons In The Sun.

this episode shows Jess Griffin rushes her baby son Paris in to AAU when after crying constantly stops and goes floppy. Jess's step-mum Lola notices bruises on young Paris's body, she assumes that Jess has been abusing Paris, but soon it turns out that Jess has not been abusing Paris but in fact Paris's blood isn't clotting properly. in an utterly heartbreaking scene, Lola fights to save the young baby's life but sadly fails. Jess's scream at the end of the episode sent chills up my spine.

Holby City does seem to follow a trend though - if the parents of a baby are staying in the show, the baby will be killed off. but this episode was still utterly heartbreaking.moreless
