    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • While on duty and dealing with a shoplifter, Kathy was attacked by her suspect. As he tried to take her gun, she held onto it with both hands so that he could not use it. With both of her hands occupied, he struck her repeatedly in the head, leaving her with a permanent neurological damage.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • Kathy: (after seeing the completed work on her house) It's like I got a little piece of heaven brought down to me. I don't have to worry anymore.

      • (After Mike points out that Kathy's laundry room used to be a closet/storage area)
Mike Holmes: The question is -- was it done right?
        Kathy: I don't know...
Mike Holmes: You're not supposed to know. HE is! (the inspector)
Kathy: That's why you hire an inspector.
Mike Holmes: Makes sense to me.

      • Joe Frangella: The good news is... the wiring will pass code. But in my eyes, the workmanship is sloppy. Now when I walk into a home, I treat it as if it were MY home. Would I do something like this in my home? No.

      • (After Mike showed Damon the over-filled garage that Damon will have to empty in order to do the work he'll need to do)
Damon Bennett: You hate me, don't you?
        Mike Holmes: No.
Damon Bennett: (laughing) What did I do?
Mike Holmes: I love you, man.
        Damon Bennett: (laughing out loud)
        Mike Holmes: (grinning) Sorry, man.
Damon Bennett: It doesn't seem like it, man!

      • Mike Holmes: How much does it cost every single time I come in to a house to fix a house with a ton of problems with money the homeowners didn't have? It's thousands.

      • Mike Holmes: If there was a permit on the plumbing, the shut-off would NOT be behind the wall.
