    • TRIVIA (1)

    • QUOTES (8)

      • Mark: Dad, we don't want to be elves.
        Tim: What?
Randy: Yeah, we thought you said we could all be Elvis!

      • Tim: What's the first thing you do when you get up?
Al: I say to myself, Oh boy, another wonderful day working side by side with Tim.
Tim: What's the second thing you do, Al?
Al: I consider calling in sick.

      • Tim: (thinking of themes for the Christmas card photo) Next year, Manger on the Moon. Space suits . . .
Jill: I don't want to be on the Moon. Besides, everyone knows a space suit adds twenty pounds.

      • Al: This is a flower decal to prevent slipping in the shower. I have these at home.
Tim: Why does that not surprise me?

      • Jill: You said this was going to be simple, now I have burnt pies, a broken window, and a snowblower in my family room!
Tim: You're not gonna let this dampen your spirits, are you?

      • (The boys are dressed as elves for the Christmas card photo)
Randy: You can't make your kid be an elf. There's got to be a law.

      • Tim: I was driving past the lumber yard, and I had a vision.
Jill: You get a vision every time you drive past the lumber yard, that's why when I'm in the car we never go that way.

      • (Discussing Ilene)
Randy: She's that dentist who makes all the teeth jokes.
Jill: She's an orthodontist, and the way your teeth are coming in, you'd better be nice to her.

    • NOTES (5)

      • This was Jimmy Labriola's very first appearance on the show, but not as his recurring character of Benny Baroni, who later makes his first appearance in "Fifth Anniversary," a few episodes after this one. In this episode, Labriola plays the man who delivers a reindeer at Tim's house. His appearance was uncredited.

      • This is the first Thanksgiving episode in the series.

      • The lazy bowl reclining toilet on the Tool Time set was a Kohler Rialto one piece toilet.

      • When the show began the opening credits it showed the toilet flush to the next scene. The inside of the toilet bowl was an American Standard Madera flush valve toilet.

      • Tim and the Tool Time crew build the Man's Bathroom in this episode.
