Brad and Randy start collecting money for charity, but they get in trouble from Jill for spending some of the money they raised. Maureen Binford makes more changes on Tool Time. I thought that this was a superb Christmas episode of "Home Improvement". Not my favorite episode but it was funny to watch and the storyline was just handled out very well. I just didn't like how Brad and Randy were stealing money from charity... that is the reason why my score is a little low. Other than that flaw, I really enjoyed this episode. The parts that did make me laugh hard was when Tim told Brad "Oh and I suppose that lock is for your mom" and then Brad responds "No, that's for Jennifer", Al dressed up as Santa Claus being stuck in the chimney and Tim actually having to get a chainsaw to help Al get out (well... almost the way out), Tim and Al in the background, and more. Overall, a superb Christmas episode of "Home Improvement". 9/10moreless

My god, this episode was just so amazing and hilarious! When Brad and Randy are going to raise money for charity when Christmas arrives, they suggest taking some money out to buy gifts for their family and friends. And when Tim and Jill soon enough find out about this, they get in a huge amount of trouble. At the end, they decide to give the charity some of the old toys they don't play with anymore. A lot of parts were very hilarious, and if I had to choose five. They would be the Tool Time Christmas Special promotion, when Tim sat on the Christmas decorations and Jill said "You got an antler up your butt!", when Al got stuck falling through the chimney during Tool Time, when Randy sarcastically patted Brad's knee and said "Good, Brad", and when Brad told Tim and Jill that they were going to give the charity the things they don't play with anymore, and then he says "Okay, Mark, hop in." ROTFL!!!!!!!!!! This episode was by far the best episode of season 2, not to mention it's one of the best in the series! Amazing, just amazing.

    • Jill: You just don't get it, do you? That money was supposed to go to the Oak Lane Children's Center. You stole money out of the hands of kids, who have next to nothing for Christmas!
Randy: Well, we weren't going to take all of it, just some of it.
Jill: Some of it or all of it, it was still stealing!
Brad: We'll do extra chores to work off the money.
Tim: You're darn right you'll do extra chores to work off the money. And then you're gonna go back to the stores and take this stuff back and get the money for it.
Jill: And then you're gonna go back to the shelter, you're gonna take in the money, and you're gonna tell them that you stole it.
Brad: But Mom, they're gonna think that we're thieves!
Randy: (sarcastically pats Brad's knee) Good, Brad!

    • Randy: How much money do you think Dad makes?
Brad: I don't know. Three dollars an hour?
Randy: Yeah...and Al does most of the work!

    • Tim: Manhattan Transfer will not be using a back-up band today because they'll be singing Acapulco.
      Alan Paul: That's "acapella," Tim.
Tim: It's warm there too, I love it there.

    • Tim: I found this in Brad's little bookbag, a locket, maybe your Christmas present.
Jill: Great, I can put their little mug shots in it.

    • Tim: Honey, why did you turn the light off on Frosty?
Jill: There was a plane heading for our house, Tim.

    • Brad: If we made 90 bucks a day, and we worked for seven days, we'd make like 200 dollars.
Randy: Brad, your math tutor must be proud.

    • Tim (about the Christmas lights): I'm going for a low-key approach. Now, you're going to need these sunglasses when I turn on the lights.
      Jill: Tim!
Tim: Don't look directly at the snowman.

    • Brad: (to Jill) Me and Randy are going to the basement to get some old toys for the shelter. We'll take them down in this trash bag.
Jill: Why, that is a wonderful idea! Just take anything you don't play with anymore.
      Brad: Okay. Mark, hop in.
