    • TRIVIA (2)

    • QUOTES (10)

      • Tim: We have a very special show for you today.
Al: Does that mean you're not going to break anything, Tim?
Tim: Maybe just your contract, buddy.

      • Tim: When you listen to your music, do you have it up so loud it rattles the walls?
Wilson: Well, I used to, Tim, but nowadays when I pound on the bongos that hard, it just makes my palms sore.

      • Jill: I have a very technical question about this new remote you installed, where you clap.
        Tim: Uh-huh?
Jill: When I watch the opera tomorrow and the audience applauds, will that turn the TV off?

      • Tim (to Mark): Real men don't use instructions, son. Besides, this is just the manufacturer's opinion of how this should be put together.

      • Jill (about the stereo): No rewiring. I just want something simple I can turn on.
        Tim: Like me!
        Jill: Not that simple.

      • Tim: Another way to make a scroll cut is to use your coping saw. Say, Al, do you suppose they call these coping saws because they're good at handling stress?

      • Jill: I don't want to be a nagging wife.
Tim: Then how will I recognize you?

      • (Randy tries to distract Tim while Brad steals donuts)
Randy: Uh, Dad, how do you build a house?
Tim: Well, first you select the site where you're going to build. Then you choose the style of house. Then you put the donuts right back in the cupboard!
        Brad: Aw, man!
(Brad and Randy leave the room)
Tim: Where are you going? I'm not finished. Then you pour the foundation!

      • Jill: What is that thing there?
Tim: That's your new police scanner.
Jill: Thanks, honey, it's exactly what I've always wanted.

      • Tim: Man's speakers, that's what I'm after. Speakers with attitude. Speakers that haven't shaved in a couple of days.

    • NOTES (1)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Al's "favorite movie about an elephant" is Dumbo, the classic Disney cartoon about an elephant with unusually large ears.

      • Janeen plays "Greensleeves" at Al's request. Al mentions that it's the theme from a movie he likes, which is probably How The West Was Won. "Greensleeves" is an ancient melody that is also the tune of the Christmas carol "What Child Is This?"
