    • TRIVIA (4)

      • When Tim is in front of the chalkboard and writes spit/wad ratio, he drew the "d" like an "s". The next time you see the board it looks like a "d". Then, the next time you see the board, its an "s" again. Then, the last time you see the board, the whole word basically changes and it says "waou", changing the "d/s" to "ou".

      • Right after one of the dinner guests says "It's so retro," you can see a boom mike drop into frame.

      • Felix says, "I served on a sub in the Navy" and a moment later, "I'm going AWOL!" AWOL (short for Absent WithOut Leave) is a term used by the Army. The Navy uses the term UA (Unauthorized Absence). Probably the writers figured that AWOL is a better known term and that if they used UA viewers might not get the joke.

      • Tim is standing in front of the chalkboard in his new class when someone throws a spit wad onto the board. Tim draws a circle around it and draws 3 lines pointing to the spit wad. However, the second time you see the chalkboard, the markings on the board have changed: from 3 lines to 1 line and 1 arrow pointing to the spit wad.

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Tim: Who wants more breakfast chili?
Brad: What's the difference between breakfast chili and dinner chili?
Tim: Well, in this case, about a week.

      • (when asked about joining students for pizza)
Tim: Well, you sure you want to be seen with your teacher?
Billy: Well, you're not like a teacher, Mr. Taylor. You're cool.
Tim: So you cats dig me, huh?
Grant: Up until that last sentence, we did.

      • Wilson: You know, I just got my cholesterol results. I wish my IQ was that high. Wait a second, it is!

      • Tim: The school curriculum says the first lesson is just lecture, okay?
Billy: Since when does the Tool Man follow instructions?
Grant: Right, you didn't follow them when you fell into the porto-potty.

      • Tim: Wayne County Community College called the set and wants me to teach an extension class.
Jill: "How to Blow Yourself Up 101"?
