Tim tries to beat Doc Johnson in the neighborhood Christmas light contest, but Randy is leaking information to Doc's granddaughter. Brad wants to go skiing with Tom Wheeler's family on Christmas. I thought that this was a superb Christmas episode of "Home Improvement". It would've been excellent but one thing ruined it. The only thing that lowered my score a little was how selfish Brad was being. I didn't like how he was getting angry and pouty just because he rather go skiing with his friend on Christmas Eve than be with his family and I also didn't like how he also desobeyed Tim and Jill. There were a bunch parts that cracked me up such as Tim Allen coming up with that "No-AL" thing, The priest telling Tim "I don't think so Tim" when he was about to give him the candle, Mark and the choir boys spelling "LEON" instead of "NOEL", Jill saying that Tim is emotional on Christmas and then Tim says "No, I just can't take the smell of Al's deodorant", and more. Overall, despite Brad's selfishness, this was a superb Christmas episode of "Home Improvement". 9/10moreless

    • Tim: What are you doing with the skis?
Brad: Oh, um, I was gonna donate them to the needy.
Tim: Yeah, that's just what they need down at the mission. Food and skis.
Brad: Look, Dad, I explained it all in a note.
Tim: It better be a good one. (reads note) "Went skiing. Brad".

    • Tim: This weekend is the Tool Time marathon. 40 straight hours of Tim and Al hijinks.
      Jill: It's also Christmas.
      Tim: It's also Christmas.

    • Tim: (to Brad) All right, you stay in your room. I don't want you sneaking downstairs to watch that Tool Time marathon.

    • (Brad wants to go skiing on Christmas Eve)
Brad: But Mom, it's perfect. I mean, I don't have school, and I can take your presents with me and open them there.
Tim: (to angel statue) Do you feel the love in this room? Do you?

    • Tim (to Brad): Christmas is important to your mom and to me, and to me.

    • Jill: We're always together at Christmas, even that year your father fell down the chimney. We were in the emergency room, but we were together.

    • Tim (at church): I would have loved to make Brad come here against his will.
Jill: That's a great vision for Christmas Eve. The four of us singing hymns, you with Brad in a headlock.

    • Tim: Christmas is not about being with people you like! It's about being with your family!

    • Wilson (about Tim's lighting display): Wonderful use of neon. It reminds me of the Christmas I spent in Las Vegas.
