Replacing the reruns with the long-cancelled WB junk Baby Blues (which I tried to watch for the THIRD time last night and still didn't find funny) is bad enough, but what was with this slam in one of their bumps? In response to a question by a viewer as to why twenty more episodes of Minoriteam (which was okay) were ordered, while nothing further will be heard from Lucy, The Daughter of the Devil (dark but funny), the AS respose was, "Have you seen the Home Movies ratings numbers lately?"

Putting HM on at 1:30 AM ET never helped, nor did the lack of advertising material or marketing tie-ins. For a show that they ordered 3.5 seasons of they sure are treating it shabbily. While I like many AS shows, Home Movies was the only one I always laughed at from start to finish, and since it seems there are never going to be any more made then this is a crappy way of sending it out. What do you think?

Adult Swim has died and gone to hell. Everything decent they show is on DVD anyway.

I agree, and have stopped watching for this reason. I don't like anime, or (please don't hurt me) Family Guy, or American Dad.

The only problem with watching it on AS on demand though is that youve got to wait about a month and a half before they change out the episodes.

They took it off for good, but hey at least we have the DVDS. Adult Swim is dead(except for The Boondocks which is becoming not great, and Futurama repeats), they are going to start showing Pee-Wee playhouse on their network, how stupid can you get

Never say that any show is gone "for good" because a show can come back at any time no matter how long of a time span has passed since it last aired. Unless you are a programming exec or can magically read the minds of a network's programming it would be wise to refrain from making statements like that. For an example of this, just look at Super Milk Chan and Cartoon Planet being shown again. My guide listings say Home Movies is going to be on Sunday 7/23/06 at 12:30 am (central standard time). I just have to say be patient and get used to Adult Swim's programming. Sure, I get annoyed too when a show that has already run a few times (but it's new to me because I am catching it for the first time) suddenly gets yanked from the lineup, but lately it eventually all seems to cycle and it will be back. It might take a few months, but chances are pretty good that the program in question you're getting all bent out of shape over will be back.

yeah, hopefully home movies will be back... I'm with everyone who doesn't like anime, for me its just not for adult swim, and hello, we're in AMERICA... I think more futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, and Home Movies would be shown... its just good american fun, and I wish AS would stop screwing with their schedule.. I feel like every other week the line up is different, find something and stick with it... either put good stuff on, ie Futurama and Home Movies, so we know we can watch it or put stupid stuff on, so we know that we are on constant boycott until they switch it to good stuff.

I have Brighthouse and we have the on demand as well. And thank goodness because that's where I usually get my home movies fix when I need one.

I think adult swim is doin it a favor by still showing it. Home Movies is my Favorite show of all time on AS and i feel bad for it not being on anymore but they are not doing anything wrong to it.
