After a less-than-great movie, Brendon, Melissa & Jason decide to take a break and have a hiatus. Brendon meets a new friend, Jason meets two new friends and Melissa is just pretty much bored the whole time. Paula's high dropout rate combined with budget cuts cause Lindenson to make some changes. Meanwhile, McGuirk wants Lynch to come with him to Mexico (to save money).''moreless
This is a brilliant episode of Home Movies. The Jazz Fight Movie is hilarious, the Lindenson and McGuirk are great! (although McGuirk is a little underused) This is one of my favorite episode's from the 2nd season. And a great one to show a Home Movies newcomer. An excellent all around Home Movies episode A+!
The way Dwayne is sitting after he gets electrocuted the first time, it looks like his legs have melted. After Dwayne gets electrocuted the second time, it looks like his whole body has melted.

(Mr. Lindenson has just fired Paula)Mr. Lindenson: You're going to have to clean out your desk immediately. Immediately, posthaste.
Paula: I don't have a desk.
Mr. Lindenson: Well then, could you possibly clean the widows, at least?
Edit
Mr. Lynch: Hmm. "Mehico". Interesting.
Coach McGuirk: What did you say?
Mr. Lynch: I said "interesting".
Coach McGuirk: No, before that.
Mr. Lynch: Hmm.
Coach McGuirk: No, before "hmm".
Mr. Lynch: "Mehico"?
Coach McGuirk: Right. It's Mexico. I thought I was an idiot.
Edit
(Acting for Brendon's movie)Jason: I overheard that she's single and I just want to let her know that I'm rich.
Melissa: Really? You're a millionaire?
Jason: No. I'm Richard.
Edit
Brendon: I'm thinking of changing my name to something like 'The Cliff'
U2's guitar player had his name legally changed to "The Edge" In another episode, Brendon makes a refrence to the U2 song "With or Without You"
