"Superb"

Brendan brings home a sick, but cute, lost dog that Coach McGuirk nearly runs over while driving the gang -- Brendan, Melissa, Jason and his new parakeet Tonto -- home from soccer practice. "Honkey Magoo" ends up tearing the house apart, so Brendan ultimately hates the dog for it.

He, however, keeps the dog nobody else wants to prove to his mother he's at least responsible enough to own a puppy, so he bets he can train it in a week. With some help from Mr. Lynch, he can keep it. The show reminds me of my grade school days, playing with a camcorder, making short stories and comics, just goofing off with friends similar to Melissa and Jason. This episode is one of the season's bests, if not one of the series' best episodes.moreless
