On a road trip, Brendon spends the money he has collected for charity.''''It's walkathon time, and Mr. Lynch hopes to finally beat the fifth graders after four years of them winning. Brendon collects $50 from Paula, but when Coach McGuirk brings Brendon with him to identify his dead uncle's body, Brendon ends up spending all his cash on McGuirk's chores. He promises to pay him back, but he can't when he finds out his uncle left him an old sausage instead of money. Brendon again attempts to collect money, but a blind man steals it from him. Paula also tries to get a raise from her boss, who simply laughs in her face. So nothing works out, and then Brendon finds out the blind man is a faker.moreless
