What can be better than an evening with Fenton, seeing Fenton's mom naked, Coach McGuirk drunk at the mall stealing Melissa's Fairy Princess wings? The evil Fairy Princess den mother was the tops. And I loved Melissa's father's revelation that he too went through a whole gender bending phase. I'd love to see that. And the kids totally inability to master the walkie talkies was total hilarity. The ending was great with Melissa's final blow up and decision to leave the Fairy Princesses in ruin. Also, a small scene where the coach makes references to the soccer team as a bunch of crying babies totally made the episode.moreless

    • Bumper stickers on McGuirk's car: "Yankees Sucks" and "Rehab is 4 Quitters!!!" Edit
    • All of the Fairy Princess merchandise is $6.66. Edit
    • In "the party" Fenton was mean to his mother and everyone and his mom never did anything about it. In this one he's afraid to get in trouble. Response: That is because near the end of "The Party" when Coach McGuirk saw how Fenton was behaving, McGuirk yelled at him and made him apologize to his mother. So now, Fenton obeys his mother. Edit
  • Notes

    ADD NOTES
    • Gnome appearances: (1) Bed shot during the Walkie-talkie test. (2) in the far left corner when McGuirk is talking to Melissa at the mall. A sign says, "All Gnomes 40% Off!" Edit
    • Fenton's character has changed from "The Party". In "The Party", he was a spoiled brat who was mean to his mother. In "Shore Leave", he is an overly obedient creepy kid. I guess that McGuirk set him straight. Edit
    • Brendon's Filmography: "Shore Leave" – Three sailors finally get off the seas and get to spend some time on shore leave. Edit

    • Eric: I've signed you up, and now, you are a fairy-princess. Melissa: I am? Eric: Yup. So you're going to need to turn in your jockstrap and your cup. Melissa: Both? Edit
    • Eric: Now, you know you'll always be my little baby girl, right? Melissa: Yeah. Eric: No matter what. Melissa: Mm-hmm. Eric: It's just that I'm afraid I'm going to blink and you'll be a man. Edit
    • McGuirk: Brendon, will you tell this kid to turn the walkie-talikie off before I smash it? Jason: Brendon, will you tell this guy to kiss my ass because I ain't turning it off. Edit
  • Allusions

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • The Blair Witch Project: Brendon talking into his camera in the closet is a reference to the movie, "The Blair Witch Project". Both monologues are shot from a low angle while the character does not know if he or she will survive. Edit
    • Wario Fenton is a spoof of Wario from his debut Super Mario Land II: 6 Golden Coins. Edit
