Brendon suggests that they (Brendon, Jason, and Melissa) all run away to Europe, where their work will be appreciated. After packing their bags, they board what they think is a cargo ship, but then it turns out to be a casino boat. Jason gets addicted to the slots. Afterwards, they all return home.

Meanwhile, Coach Mcguirk needs finacial advice as his car repair is costing him $1000, so he turns to book author Tom Wilsonberg, who did a speech at the school on how to make money. Contrary to what Tom said in his speech, he tells Mcguirk to try gambling for quick cash. Tom takes him to a casino boat, and gives him a $100 in chips to gamble. Tom comes back later and finds Mcguirk having a winning streak.

Tom tells Mcguirk that he should stop while he has the money, but Coach Mcguirk refuses and they get in a huge argument, resulting in all of the chips falling into the water. Tom has another plan to get both of them money when he tells the Police he wants to sue the casino boat for having un-supportive railings.
