The young filmmakers are going to Fenton Muley's birthday party, but Brendon refuses to give him anything because unlike Melissa and Jason, he doesn't know Fenton very well. Fenton's Mom comes to the Small house and askes Brendon to do a special "film/video" for his Birthday. Brendon films himself in his "Birthday suit" (wearing a taped-on cnesorship sign in some places), mocking Fenton. At the party, Truty (Fenton's Mom) hugs Brendon, so he wants to change the video before anyone sees it.

Meanwhile, Jason continually eats candy and drinks soda, probably to forget his flunked tests. He starts acting drunk, and Melissa grows concerned. Jasons passes out, but when he wakes up, Melissa has called a taxi for him. She shoves him inside.

Fenton acts like a jerk and a brat at the party, never being satisfed with his presents and yelling at his mom. Brendon makes a new movie, which he shows. It still partly mocks Brendon, by showing him yelling at his mom and being inconsiderate to party guests. Coach Mcguirk shows up with some beer shortly after...

Melissa again finds Jason eating at the party. Everyone leaves early because of Fenton, and then Coach McGurk yells at Fenton to shut up after telling Truty it was her fault that everyone left. Truty then yells at Fenton to go to his room, and then Jon and Truty go to have coffee. And Brendon, Jason, and Melissa walk home talking about special effects...
